What it does

I use Home Assistant as a place to bring devices and useful information together. Rather than settling for what each manufacturer's app offers, I build and adjust integrations around how I actually use the space.

The work

That includes clearer energy-use visibility, device and network monitoring, small household routines and improvements to the reliability of self-hosted services. Some pieces are custom integrations; others are careful combinations of existing tools.

It's less about turning everything into a dashboard and more about surfacing the right detail at the right moment, while keeping everyday automation dependable.

Why I built it

My home setup doubles as a living test environment for software and infrastructure ideas. If a system makes ordinary tasks simpler and keeps working after I've stopped thinking about it, that's a win.
