Tools in use and iteration
Creative Workflow Tools
Small, deliberately focused tools for the repetitive parts of editing that shouldn't need so much manual attention.
The work
After more than a decade of editing, the same time-consuming problems kept showing up. I started building utilities that solve them directly and fit alongside the tools I already use.
Silence Remover
Helps identify and trim unwanted quiet sections in spoken footage, taking the repetitive first pass out of dialogue-heavy edits.
Mixer Transfer
Supports moving editing and audio work between stages of a production, reducing the manual reconstruction that can happen during a handoff.
Marker Importer
Brings structured timing notes and markers into an editing timeline so decisions made elsewhere can become useful edit points.
Why I built them
I care about the craft of editing. The less energy I spend on mechanical timeline work, the more attention I have for pacing, sound and the actual story. These tools grow from daily production needs and are still being improved.
